I want to have the same excitement they do. I want to push disenchantment out of the way and give expectations a proper place, but not the throne. So, here are some things I’m doing to enjoy Christmas and make room for peace instead of pressure.

Rather than just leaving the candy loose in the basket for kids to pick up, we made it an activity! Kids had fun “fishing” for chocolate at our house and it was a great success. This year my three-year-old and I started brainstorming and experimenting with other fun ideas we want to try.
