Gender Reveal Parties are all the rage right now! Even if you’re not pregnant or a mother you have probably heard of/been invited to these types of celebrations. An alternative for a traditional baby shower, these parties involve the parents finding out whether the baby will be a boy or a girl.
But, every now and again a seemingly innocent status feels like a punch to the gut. A memory from seven years ago about picking up a dress for a friend’s wedding had me sobbing. But, it isn’t the dress I think about when I look back on that day.
